TDP leader Uma Maheswar Rao goes on strike to protect the interests of Seema Andhra

Senior TDP leader Mr. D.Uma Maheswar Rao will go on indefinite strike from today at Vijaywada in order to protect the interest of Seema Andhra people. He has taken a decision to go on strike after consulting the party leaders. He told the newsmen that Central Ministers belonging to Seema Andhra have no concern for the people. Central Govt. announced to divide the State but no assurance was given to protest the interests of Seema Andhra people. He further said that Central Ministers from this region have failed to communicate the sentiments of people to national leaders. TDP is therefore, organizing indefinite strike to attract the attention of Central Govt. the strike would continue till the apprehensions are removed. He targeted the Central Govt. that it is claiming to resolve the issue without understanding the problems of Seema Andhra people.
