Senior TDP leader and former ZPTC member from Yellareddy mandal, Mr. Shaikh Ghayasuddin attempted suicide protesting TDP’s tie-up with BJP. He tried to set himself ablaze by pouring kerosene but the party members foiled his attempt.
The news of his suicide attempt spread like a wildfire and thousands of people arrived to meet him. On the occasion he told press persons that Chandrababu Naidu has terribly disappointed TDP leaders.
Mr. Shaikh Ghayasuddin and his late father Shaikh Fayazuddin have been supporting TDP since its inception and due to their diligent efforts Yellareddy area is called the hub of TDP.
