TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Party Foundation Day celebrations here on Friday.
To mark the completion of 31 years of the party, he cut a 31-kg cake and hoisted the party flag and addressed the extended executive committee of the party. “He called upon the cadre to work hard to ensure victory for the party in the ensuing elections. TDP has the chance to play a vital role in the Centre as well,” he said.
The State is witnessing a bad governance and the government has failed to address people’s problems, he said adding that scams have become order of the day in Congress rule. The misrule of YSR has been still having an adverse effect on the state, he said.
He also inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by the youth wing and distributed sarees among women.
Naidu also felicitated the founder members of the party Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. Gorantla Butchaih Chodhary, N Malla Reddy, Chikkala Ramachandra Rso, AV Suryanarayana RAju, Metla Satyanarayana, Valluri Naryana Rao and others on the occasion.
Elsewhere the cadre also celebrated the day and rededicated themselves for the ideals of NTR.
At NTR ghat in Hyderabad, T Srinivas Yadav paid floral tributes to the founder president and said they will work for strengthening the party. (INN)
