Sending a letter to Director General of Prisons T. Krishna Raju, TDP MLC Mr. Y Ram Krishnudu urged him to take immediate steps for setting up of cell phone jammers at Chanchalguda jail with immediate effect.
He claimed that some prisoners are illegally using phone and internet. Jail prisoners are having connections with outside world by misusing technology which tantamount to violation of jail regulations.
In the letter Mr. Y Ram Krishnudu claimed that the visitors of the jail are giving political prisoners chances to connect to the outside world by providing smart phone and WiFi connections.
