TDP demands handing over of Bhanu Kiran case to CBI

Alleging that the YSR Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was involved in all the crimes perpetrated by Bhanu Kiran, the alleged killer of Maddelacheruvu Suri, the TDP has demanded that the case be handed over to the CBI for further investigation.

Talking to the media here on Tuesday, party senior leader Varla Ramaiah alleged that Jagan was involved in most of the crimes committed by Bhanu Kiran and Mangali Krishna. Stating that his party was seriously suspecting the role of Jagan in the murder of TDP leader Paritala Ravindra, Ramaiah said that a series of murders were committed later to wipe out evidence. Expressing doubts that the lives of Mangali Krishna and Bhanu Kiran were also in danger, he said there was need for the case to be immediately transferred to the CBI further investigation.

Ramaiah has explained that Suri, who was the prime accused in Paritala Ravindra’s murder, was allegedly murdered by Bhanu Kiran. Stating that Mangali Krishna was the mentor of Bhanu Kiran, he questioned Jagan if Bhanu Kiran would have murdered Suri without the knowledge of Mangali Krishna, who was his own PA. He also questioned how Bhanu Kiran could amass properties worth Rs 1,000 crores without the knowledge and hand of Jagan and his follower Mangali Krishna.

Stating that Jagan, who was in his ‘Odarpu Yatra’ on the day when Suri was murdered, Ramaiah said they had information that the Kadapa MP was on phone for over two hours with different persons and demanded to know who he was speaking to. He also demanded to know if Jagan had not gone to jail and visited Mangali Krishna’s father when he was arrested.

Referring to the statement of auditor Vijaya Sai Reddy, who was just let out on bail in the illegal assets case against Jagan, that he would be joining active politics, Varla Ramaiah said it has now become known that Vijaya Sai Reddy would contest from Nellore, Bhanu Kiran from Rajampet, mining scam accused Rajagopal from Anantapur and Ambati Rambabu from Guntur. Stating that these are the kind of people who would be coming to the Assembly if Jagan was elected, Ramaiah has asked people to beware of the YSR Congress. (NSS)
