TDP demands CBI probe into Jagan’s alleged links with factionists

Telugu Desam Party MLC YVBG Rajendra Prasad on Monday demanded that the government order CBI probe into the alleged link between YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy and factionist leaders Maddela Cheruvu Suri, Bhanu Kiran and Mangali Krishna.

Talking to media persons at Telugu Desam Legislature Party Office, he alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy has been running murder politics in the State at the behest of these factionist leaders. “Only the CBI probe will reveal alleged links of Jagan with these factionist leaders and truth will come to light,” he said.

Rajendra Prasad accused Jagan of encouraging religious politics with an eye on the Chief minister’s post. He condemned Jagan’s comments that he was being victimised by the ruling party and Congress president Sonia Gandhi by foisting false cases against him.

Stating that the TDP has never leveled personal allegations Jagan, he said that the party has only asked Jagan to disclose his sources of income and how he accumulated illegal properties worth several hundred crores. (INN)
