TDP complains of YSRC candidate voting early

TDP has complained to the State Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal about the YSR Congress candidate Dharmana Krishna Das casting his vote even before the start of polling.

Party State Vice President E Peddi Reddy wrote a letter to the CEO, pointing out that the polling staff had started polling at 7-45 am in Madagam Polling Station of the Narasannapeta assembly constituency in order to accommodate Dharmana Krishna Das to cast his vote as he felt that the time was auspicious. The action of the polling staff permitting Krishna Das to cast his vote even before the hour fixed for starting of polling was arbitrary, illegal and attracted legal action, he contended.

The TDP leader has requested the CEO to take action against the polling staff and Krishna Das and order repolling in the said centre. (NSS)
