P Chandrasekhar, the nominee of Telugu Desam Party on Thursday filed nomination papers for Mahbubnagar Assembly segment in the upcoming by-elections scheduled to be held on March 18.
Chandrasekhar came to District Collectorate in a procession along with his supporters and filed his nomination papers during auspicious hours. Talking to media persons later, he said that he would make complete efforts for the development of Mahbubnagar Assembly constituency if the people elects in the by-polls.
Another TDP candidate from N Venugopal Rao filed his nomination papers from the Kamareddy assembly segment. From the Station Ghanpur (SC) constituency, an independent candidate, Baskula Tagore Prasad, also filed his papers. (INN)
