Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu said that the victory of TDP-BJP combine in GHMC polls was the need of the hour.
Addressing a press conference at TDP headquarters NTR Trust Bhavan here on Saturday, Naidu said people could trust the TDP as it was the same party which brought development in Hyderabad and took it to global level. Listing out the contribution of previous TDP Government in city’s development, he said that Hyderabad gained significance at the international level after the construction of Hitech City. Cyberabad boosted economic activity and the entry of Microsoft in Hyderabad attracted several global giants into the city, he said.
Naidu said that the TDP Government brought Krishna River water to Hyderabad for drinking purpose. Budhapurnima project, Lumbini Park and other tourist attractions were also constructed during TDP regime. He said that the then TDP Government worked with a vision and those initiatives were still benefitting the city residents.
The TDP chief appealed to the people to vote in favour of TDP-BJP combine candidates to ensure development of Hyderabad.
Telangana TDP President L. Ramana and senior leaders including Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Ravula Chandrashekar Reddy were also present. (INN)
