The candidates and workers of Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party of Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency on Friday agreed to forge unity and better coordination in order to win the ensuing Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the joint meeting of TDP and BJP workers at a private hotel here, BJP’s Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat candidate Bandaru Dattatreyya called for unity among the TDP and BJP workers. He said the elections could not be won without having better coordination. He hoped that the TDP-BJP combine would win the next elections to form the first government of Telangana State. He blamed the Congress party for ongoing crisis and chaos in both the regions of Telangana and Seemandhra.
The meeting was attended by leaders including G Kishan Reddy and Dr K Lakshman of BJP and K Vijayarama Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Feroz Khan of TDP. (INN)
