TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao today alleged that TDP and BJP have forged electoral alliance only to cheat people.
Speaking after welcoming INTUC leaders into the party, KCR said there was no need to talk about the forcible alliance between BJP and TDP. Despite strong opposition from cadre of both parties, they have forged an alliance, the TRS chief said and asked the TDP chief and BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu about their stand on changing of Polavaram design.
“If people are to be benefited and for irrigation of one crore agriculture land a good government has to come in Telangana. Venkaiah Naidu and Chandrababu Naidu were jointly trying to cheat the people”, he said and alleged that both are die-hard supporters of Seemandhra. He also asked why the alliance was forged even as cadres of both the parties vehemently opposed the deal. All problems in Telangana were created by the Congress and TDP governments, he added. (NSS)
