The Telugu Desam Party has begun the process for election of district-unit presidents of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States.
TDP President and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday reviewed the process to elect new district unit presidents. According to sources, he took the opinion of party leaders for the posts of Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Adilabad district presidents. The process to elect new district presidents is expected to be completed by May 18.
Similarly, the TDP presidents for East Godavari, Guntur, Nellore and Anantapur will be elected today while the process for Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Krishna and Chittoor will be completed on May 17. The presidents for West Godavari, Prakasam, Kadapa and Kurnool will be elected on May 18.
