TDP senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy today demanded the state governor and the election commission to order an inquiry into alleged involvement of YSRC leaders in distributing liquor and money to woo the voters.
Somireddy, TDP polit bureau member, in a statement here alleged that Jagan party was involved in various irregularities, presuming that there is no chance of its winning the elections.
Alleging that YSRC president Jaganmohan Reddy is intimidating the voters, the TDP leader said that liquor and money have been distributed by the party to woo the voters. He further alleged that Sakshi channel vans were being used for transporting money.
YSRC leaders have indulged in physical attacks on its opponent candidates and they attacked Rajmapet BJP candidate Daggupati Purundeshwari and Chandragiri segment TDP candidate Galla Aruna, he said.
Somireddy alleged that Jagan was indulging in irregularities to come to power at any cost, to avoid punishment in the cases filed against him. He urged people to vote for TDP candidates for good governance. (NSS)
