Telangana TDP leader Arikela Narsa Reddy today ridiculed the five TDP MLCs urging the Council Chairman to treat them as TRS members.
Speaking to mediapersons in the NTR Bhavan on Tuesday, Narsa Reddy requested the Council Chairman to disqualify the five TDP MLCs, who defected to the ruling TRS, under Anti-Defection Law.
Referring to Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao signing an MoU with his Chhattisgarh counterpart Raman Singh for purchase of 1000 MW power from that State, the TDP ridiculed the former for running from pillar to post for procuring power only after the standing crops withered. The Telangana CM woke up from deep slumber and frantically trying to procure power due to fear of the TDP, he added.
The TDP leader said they would corner the TRS government and expose its inefficiency in the ensuing Assembly session over several burning issues of the common man and farmer. (NSS)
