TDP has on Sunday announced a six-point programme the first point of which was to control the corruption of Congress, to contain and challenge the ruling party.
In a statement here on Sunday, party senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu announced this
programme, which includes, stopping all the irregularities, recovering the polundered money
and distribute it to the farmers and the poor, equitable distribution of the government’s
revenue, containing extravagant expenditure and using the natural resources for the
development of the society.
Stating that the government had enough money to redeem all the promises made by his party
chief Chandrababu Naidu, he said all was needed was the equitable allocation of the available
resources. Spourning the criticism of the Chief Minister and other Congress leaders, he said
Naidu had thought about all the promises and their financial involvement before making them.
He said these were not just the promises of the TDP, but were also the aspirations of the
people under the Congress rule.
He said those who were confined to their air-conditioned houses and do the rounds to Delhi, would not be able to understand people’s problems.
He has criticized that Congress had copied the TDP scheme cash transfer and was claiming it to be of
its own. He said if they could, they should think of new schemes and implement them. He said
it was improper to ridicule others who think of better life for the poor.
