TDP and YSR groups collide in Kadapah

(Siasat News) During election campaign in Rayachoti Assembly constituency of Kadapah District the workers of TDP and YSR Congress collided with each other. Due to this, the situation became tense. Election Campaign in Rayachoti is at its peak. Srikant Reddy of YSR Congress reached Rayachoti in connection with his election campaign. This area is supposed to be the fortress of TDP. The workers of TDP got irritated over the election campaign of Srikant Reddy. Heated arguments started between the workers of both the parties. Immediately of this, pelting of stones began which continued for half an hour. Workers from both the parties got injured. The interesting thing is that the police personnel present on the spot didn’t interfere. The gunman of YSR candidate Srikanth Reddy opened two rounds of fire in the air in order to save him. Women from both the groups participated fervently and pelted stones. On receiving information, DSP reached the spot and controlled the situation. S.P. of KAdapah, Mr.Manish Kumar Sinha told that the situation is normal in the area. In order to obstruct the election campaign of Srikanth Reddy, TDP activists obstructed by pelting stones. It is a minor unpleasant incident.

Commenting on this incident, the TDP candidate Mr. Balasubramanyam told that Mr. Srikanth Reddy has lost the confidence of the people and hence in order to create fear the YSR Congress created this scene.

Mr. Balasubrahmanyam told that Srikanth Reddy stationed Prachararatham and started loudspeaker at a high pitch so that people should not hear his speech. He challenged Mr. Reddy that if he has public support, let him campaign in a democratic manner and seek votes. The attitude of YSR Congress activists, is very aggressive in this constituency which won’t be tolerated. Mr. Srikanth Reddy blamed the TDP workers for yesterday’s violent incident.
