TD responsible for crisis: BJP

Hyderabad, January 02: BJP State president B Dattatreaya blamed the Chief Minister K Rosaiah and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu for the ongoing political crisis in the State.

He demanded that the TDP should announce its stand on Telangana before January 5 all-party meeting at Delhi. He said the Congress and the TDP did not have clarity on the issue.

Adressing a press conference at the BJP office here today, he said that all Telangana ministers who have sent their resignations to the party high command withdrew the same without achieving any thing.

He alleged that the Congress Government at the Centre and TDP are trying to dilute the issue by adopting delaying tactics as the Union Home Ministry has not finalised the agenda for the January 5 meeting.

He opined that “Jai Andhra’’movement will pick up in coastal districts in the coming days and all parties would inevitably support the movement.
