Telangana TDP on Monday alleged that the State Government has neglected the development of Hyderabad despite getting a comfortable majority in GHMC elections.
Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Telangana TDP unit chief L Ramana said that the roads under GHMC area are in pathetic condition and warned that TDP would stage protests in front of GHMC offices if the roads in the capital city were not repaired soon.
Saying that the TRS government had promised to make Hyderabad a global city, Ramana alleged that the state government and the GHMC failed to provide even the basic civic infrastructure in the city. He alleged that Municipal Administration Minister K Tarakarama Rao was responsible for the bad condition of the city roads.
The TD leader said that a mere ten-minute down pour was choking the city roads which show the inefficiency of the administration. He demanded the state government and the GHMC to immediately take steps to repair the city roads else warned of the party taking up protests to highlight government’s apathy. (INN)
