TD, Cong flay TRS Govt as corrupt

Telugu Desam Tealangana leader L Ramana today criticized that the TRS Government is caught in the web of corruption and irregularities.
Talking to reporters along with K Dayakar Reddy here he alleged that the government made Rajaiah a scapegoat in the muddle of corruption charges in the health department. Reacting on Rajaiah’s ouster as deputy chief minister and replacing him with Kadiam Srihari, Ramana said that corruption will not routed by doing so. Just by shunting a Dalit minister and replacing him with another will not serve the purpose he said. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken an unwise decision. Dayakar Reddy predicted that KCR will remain as chief minister for next 15 months and a day given situation in view. Reddy said that KCR sent a signal to people that corruption will continue if a Dalit leader becomes chief minister. This is totally wrong idea and what the Chief Minister has taken is not a wise decision, he charged.
In a separate press meet congress leader and former minister Danam Nagender accused the TRS Government of failing to check swineflu spread. He attributed the growing number of deaths related to swineflu to the failure of the government which is ill equipped. By removing Rajaiah as deputy chief minister and health ministry, KCR is trying to hide the mistake of corruption which will not prove handy, he said. He alleged that GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar misguided the chief minister with wrong reports on swineflu which will not cause any loss. He opined that based Somesh Kumar’s report Rajaiah must have neglected the spread of virus which led to ouster of his post. (NSS)
