TD a non entity in T, says Jupally

With the exposure of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s involvement in the defamed bribery case led to arrest of Revanth Reddy bribing Rs 50 lakhs to MLA Stephenson, Telugu Desam Party is a non existing entity in Telangana State. This was stated by Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao during a press conference here. He accused Naidu of playing bad politics for survival in Telangana and creating hurdles to Telangana development. He attributed Revanth’s episode for using ill gotten money of Andhra region by Naidu to purchase MLAs. Rao also alleged that Naidu is continuing to play worse politics by seeking nominated MLA’s favour in MLC elections held on June 1, he alleged. The minister took exception to Revanth for not reacting on suicides during statehood movement. The TD members from Telangana should wake up from their deep slumber at this juncture, he suggested. Rao also said that it is not wrong if some TD members of the region joined the TRS on getting support from the people of the respective segments.

TRS MLA Srinivas Goud alleged that Revanth has defamed Palamur district by his bribery episode. Stating that the incident is unfortunate, he felt that the incident should be an eye opener to other TD leaders. (NSS)
