TCC To Observe Nov. 1 As Telangana Betrayal Day

Telangana Co-ordination Committee (TCC) has resolved to observe Andhra Pradesh State formation day on November 1 as ‘Telangana Betrayal Day’.

The committee has appealed to the people of the Telangana region to express their resentment against the government’s hostile attitude towards their demand for de-merger by wearing black badges and hoisting black flags on November 1.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Prof. A. Gopala Kishan, Chairman, TCC, demanded that the ministers and elected representatives boycott the official functions in connection with the AP formation Day. He charged the Congress leaders with creating confusion and hurt the sentiments of Telangana people. He lambasted the Centre for aggravating the problem by issuing provocative statements instead of analyzing the issue in the right perspective to find solution for Telangana formation.

Committee members T. Vivek, Y. Ravinder Rao, Hameed Mohd. Khan were also present. (NSS).
