New Delhi, September 19: A man was diagnosed with cancer. It was a shock. The diagnosis shattered him. He was a true sportsperson. So he gathered courage and made effort to live like a normal fellow. But all his efforts went into vain as he lost his battle with cancer. The man was non other than Sal Aunese.
A programme will be featured on ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” at 6 am on Sunday in memory of Sal Aunese. The story will pay rich tributes to a sportsperson who lost his battle with the deadly cancer around 20 years ago.
TC McCartney is the son of the late Sal Aunese. He was only five-month old when Sal had died.
Now TC is ready to show his might on the field. His coach is Les Miles, who recruited Aunese from Vista High to Colorado.
