Hyderabad, March 24: A Padma of Uppal Circle bagged the bumper prize of Rs 1 lakh in the lucky draw for tax payers held here on Monday.
Mayor Banda Karthika Reddy picked the winners of the incentive scheme launched by the GHMC for those who paid property tax promptly.
The SBH has sponsored the cash prizes totalling Rs 10 lakh.
The two first prizes of Rs 25,000 each went to M Hanumanth Rao of Khairatabad circle (Old MCH-4) and Manoj Patel of Abids circle (Old MCH-3). The five second prizes of Rs 10,000 each were bagged by PVD Prasad of Malkajigiri, P Papi Reddy of RC PURAM, Raja Chaturbhuj Dass of Abids (Old MCH-6) and Raja Sadhana Gandra of Kukatpally, PO (S Vani) of Khairatabad (old MCH-5).
The 10 third prizes of Rs 5,000 each went to B Ayaliah of Abids, P Pariya Swamy (Qutbullapur), M Sarojinamma (Kukatpally), Sabera Begum (Khairatabad), S Vishnu (Secunderabad), T Karmati Raj (LB Nagar), G Basappa (Khairatabad), P Vishnu Murthy (Secunderabad), SN Kurram (Khairatabad) and T Raja Lakshmi from Uppal circle. About 375 consolation prizes of Rs 2,000 each were also picked in the draw.
