Tawa Sabz Pulao


1 cup basmati rice

75 Gram onions

70 Gram cauliflower

½ tsp turmeric powder

30 Gram beans

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

5 Tbsp ghee

40 Gram carrot

3 tbsp water

2 tsp lemon juice

10 Gram coriander, fresh

Mint (according to taste)

80 Gram tomatoes

30 Gram onions, browned

1/2 tsp garam masala


Wash the rice, and cook the rice in low to medium flame without the lid. add oil, salt and turmeric powder.

Cut the cauliflower, beans and carrots in even sized dices and blanch them in hot water till half done.

Heat ghee on a hot tawa and add chopped onions.

Saute till it turns light brown in colour. Later, add carrot, chopped tomatoes and garam masala.

Add pre-cooked pulao rice, salt and mix well on tawa.

Add chopped fresh coriander, mint and brown onions. Toss well and serve hot.
