New Delhi: In 2019, Tata motors managed to sell only one Nano car whereas, no production of the car took place in the first nine months of the year.
According to the report published in Economic Times, the company has sold only one car in the month of February this year. However, the company has not yet announced anything about putting an end to the production of the model.
BS-VI emission norms
The company has admitted that in the present form, Nano car will not meet BS-VI emission norms.
It may be mentioned that the production of the car was started in 2008. However, the sale of the model had fallen down over the years.
Last year, from January to September, the company had produced 297 units and sold 299.
