Kolkata: Tata Motors Group on Thursday said its global wholesalers or sales to dealers during the month of September this year rose by 21 percent as against the corresponding month last year.
The wholesales number – pegged at 97,102 units – is inclusive of the dealer sales of the Jaguar-Land Rover brand.
The cumulative wholesale for this fiscal stood at 4,78,004 units – up by four percent over last fiscal.
The global wholesales of all commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range in September 2015 stood at 33,768 units – lower by three percent compared to September last year.
The global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in the month under review was registered at 63,334 units which is higher by 40 percent in comparison to the similar month in 2014.
Last month, Jaguar wholesales accounted for 8,211 vehicles while Land Rover wholesales stood at 42,863 vehicles.
On a cumulative basis, the Jaguar brand sold 42,889 vehicles to car dealers while the Land Rover range was able to make a wholesale of 2,31,197 vehicles in 2015-16.
