New Delhi: Tata Motors on Monday reported an 11 per cent rise in global sales, including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), at 1,18,750 units in March.
The company had sold 1,06,595 units in March 2015, Tata Motors said in a regulatory filing.
In the passenger vehicles category, global sales stood at 73,515 units last month as against 68,109 units in March 2015 – an increase of 8 per cent.
Sales of luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover rose 22 per cent to 64,579 units last month as compared to 52,736 units in March 2015.
The company’s sales of commercial vehicles in March were up 18 per cent at 45,235 units from 38,486 units a year ago.
