New Delhi: Tata Docomo, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices, said today it has extended the bill payment date for its post-paid customers till November 15 who can pay through newer currency notes. The move is effective November 9-15 across all its circles.
This should come as relief for hassled people who have been queuing up at banks for new high-value currencies after the government decided to abolish old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes in a bid to tackle the menace of black money. “To help our customers not get inconvenienced due to demonetisation phase, we have extended the bill payment date till November 15 for all our post-paid customers across the country. This is to ensure our seamless and continuous service,” a company spokesperson said.
