Blaming Congress for break up of alliance in Maharashtra assembly poll, NCP General Secretary Tariq Anwar today said the party had done well contesting alone in 1999 there and ruled out possibility of post poll tie-up with BJP.
“NCP had done well by winning 60 seats while fighting alone in Maharashtra in 1999 election,” Anwar told reporters.
He blamed Congress for break up of the 15-year-old tie-up between Congress and NCP.
