Mumbai, September 07: This time the event was 55th National Film Awards and Mr. Perfectionist of the Bollywood Aamir Khan’s “Tare Zameen Par” easily bagged three national awards with the glory of successes through the whole world. This flick was based on the kids who are dyslexia.
While, on the other hand, King Khan’s “Chak De India” bagged an award for most popular and entertaining flick in the ceremony.
South Indian movies made their special marks on the top ranking awards in the event. Tamil flick “Kanchivaram” has been chose for the best film which was based on sews of Kanchipuram before independence. The lead actor of flick “Kanchipuram” Prakash Raj also defeated the two big Khans Aamir and Shahrukh for best actor award.
The best actress award went to actress Umashri for Kannad flick “Gulabi Takeej”. Best child actor’s National Award went to Sharad Goyekar from a Marathi flick “Tingiya”.
Flick “Tare Zameen Par” has been chose for the best family movie which was directed and acted by Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. The best male playback singer and lyricist Shankar Mahadevan and Prasoon Joshi respectively have been awarded for the song “Andhere se Darta Hoon Maa” from the movie “Tare Zameen Par”.
The best direction award has been bagged by Adool Gopalakrishnan. Best female playback singer has been bagged by the singer Shreya Ghosal for another Bollywood’s blockbuster hit flick “Jab We Met”. “Jab We Met” has also been awarded for the best choreography for its song “Ye Ishq Hai”.
“Gandhi My Father’s” actor Darshan Jariwala has been awarded for best male supporting actor which was made under the banner of Anil Kapoor’s production house. “Gandhi My Father” has also bagged best jury’s award in the event. The best female actress award went to Shefali Shah for the movie “The Last Liar”.
Previously, Prakash Raj has also been awarded by the best supporting actor for the flick “Eshwar” in 1998 and best jury’s award in 2003.
