Severe face and head injuries reportedly caused the death of Arunachal teen Nido Tania who was allegedly mercilessly beaten by shopkeepers in Lajpat Nagar area, in High Court on Monday.
The autopsy report states that the injuries were caused by blunt trauma, as per reports.
The accused in the case will now be tried for murder. While police has arrested three accused, three others are still absconding.
The son of Congress MLA Nido Pavitra was declared dead in hospital a day after he was allegedly beaten by the shopkeepers.
The Delhi High Court had taken suo moto cognisance of Taniam’s death and asked the state, Centre and Delhi government to file report on the incident.
Delhi police will submit the autopsy report to high court today.
