In the name of bringing instant prosperity to the families, a 42 years-old tantrik had been indulged in exploitation of the minor girls for the last 18 years.
Mumbai police cracked opened the sordid case by acting on tip-off and detained the fraudulent tantrik identified as Vijay Thombre from his apartment in Dombivili in a nick of time saving a 15 year-old from being violated.
It was revealed that the tantric ruined the lives of a number of minor girls. The latest victim is a 15 year-old who was living with her father, step mother and paternal grandmother.
It was the grandmother who changes her parents mind and even took the girl to Delhi on 3rd May to the tantrik baba. Unfortunate the baba, as the police reached on time to save the girl from his clutches.
“Since the girl was not relenting to the tantrik’s demand, he tried to convince her by saying that 25 girls who had sex with him benefited as their family prospered,” Thane Crime Branch Police Inspector Madan Ballal told the media.
The accused even given a statement admitting his crime, and also confessed that he was involved in this crime since the last 18 years, added the Inspector.
