Chennai: Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi K Palaniswami has invited PM Narendra Modi to unveil portrait of late Former CM J Jayalalitha in the state assembly in July.
Its has been five months now since the demise of former Tamil Nadu CM and AIADMK general secretary Jayalalitha in a Chennai Hospital over prolong illness of three months.
CM Palaniswami has sent a written invitation to PM Modi amidst the current tension in the AIADMK, over the political leadership between two contenders to take control of the party, one former CM O Paneerselvam and the other former general secretary VK Sasikala. Palaniswami is from the Sasikala group, as reported in Dailyhunt.
