At the age of 20, Ameena Ahmed Shaikh found love in Arif Ibrahim Tambe, then 32.
According to the report published in Yourstory, the problem was not the age gap rather it was their height difference.
The height of Ameena is 5 feet whereas Arif is 3 feet tall. This two feet difference created hurdles.
It may be mentioned that society expects a husband to be taller than a wife.
Speaking about Arif, Ameena said that she was confident that he would take good care of her as he earns not only for himself but also for his family.
Recalling the reaction of her parents, she said that they were initially shocked.
Only her parents and sister were in favour of this match. Everyone including relatives boycotted the marriage which held in 20012.
However, after 5 years, both are happy with their son, Assem Arif Tambe.
