The 9th phase of peace talks between US and Taliban is on in Qatar. Taliban representative Zabihullah Mujahid on Saturday said that he is hopeful that some decision will soon be taken. He hoped that American the talks will pave way for withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. And those leaders will write the destiny of Afghanistan who were declared representative of satanic forces by US after 9/11 attacks.
But during the past 18 years the most powerful government of the world could not end Taliban though the US tried all the lethal weapons including atom bomb. It also experimented mother of all bombs in the field of Afghanistan.
The fact is that, US is badly defeated by Afghanistan. Now the US needs a beautiful excuse to leave Afghanistan. Hence it is forced to hold talks with Taliban to whom it has been declaring anti-human until recently.
US, to defeat Soviet Union had put Afghanistan in the fire of extremism; now no one will be able to extricate it from that extremism. It must be noted that in the 80s US secret agency CIA had provided training to Taliban and provided arms to field them against Soviet Union, but no one would have ever thought that the Taliban who were provided training and arms by the US would make the lives of Muslims in Afghanistan a hell in the name of Islam. And will begin attacking US interest. Hence US rulers are trying to respectfully find a way out from Afghanistan.
