Two Ministers Anam Ramnarayana Reddy (Finance and Damodar Rajanarasimha (Higher Education) were present at the talks.
Following failure of the talks the Joint Action Committee of Telangana Teachers have decided to go ahead with their non-cooperation in the government departments as scheduled from February 17 to 21 to build pressure on the Central government to introduce a Bill on separate Telangana in Parliament.
The JAC leaders told media persons later on Saturday that 3.5 lakh Telangana employees have been told to take their call for non-cooperation.

Besides that, they said that aspirations for achieving a separate Telangana cannot be dampened now as the government did not concede to their demands on grounds of paucity of funds.

Representatives of 25 Teachers’ Unions also raised slogans in support of separate Telangana. They said that their staff would also boycott work in the waterworks department later if the government did not come round to reason in solving their issues.
They have clarified that their protest or non-cooperation would not inconvenience the students. Among others, they demanded abolition of 14 (1) Clause which allows Hyderabad as a free zone for recruitment,
Restoration of Mulki rules for those living in Telangana region, filling up vacant posts, abolition of apprentice system in teachers’ recruitment from July 1, 2008 as recommended by the PRC.
