Nashik, February 10:A talathi (revenue official) was today caught by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 in neighbouring dhule district.
Bhagwan More was trapped in his office in Sakri taluka, an ACB release said here.
He had allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 1.25 lakh from the complainant to enrol his name as heir on agriculture land in his village. The amount was settled at Rs 1 lakh and More was caught when he was accepting the first instalment, the the release added. PTI
