Talasani visits Kanti Velugu camp in Ramgopalpet

Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today appealed to people to make use of Kanti Velugu program in the State and get addressed their eye related problems.

The minister made a visit to some eye testing camps in Ramgopalpet division here and interacted with the people and asked them about the eye camp and facility. On the occasion, he got his tested his eyes and appealed to people to make use of this opportunity. The Kanti Velugu program was designed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to provide free eye test and conduct operations free of cost to all the people.

“This is first of its kind program in the country and will prove handy for providing complete eye care to the people”, he averred. As the people and common man cannot afford costly eye operations and eye testing, the KCR Government has come forward with a unique program to help them, he said. He also said all the people can avail the facility as the program will continue till January 2019. The officials were asked to provide optical sets, medicines to all and conduct eye operations to those needed, he said.
