Former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Sunday expressed unhappiness over the selection of candidates for the Rajya Sabha seats by the Telugu Desam Party.
Talking to media persons after meeting TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu at latter’s residence, Talasani said that the party has been making mistakes in selection of candidates for the Rajya Sabha seats. However, he said he would give his final reaction only after the official announcement of candidates.
Meanwhile, sources say that the TDP president held one-on-one interactions with several senior leaders including Kodela Siva Prasad Rao, Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, E Peddi Reddy, KE Krishna Murthy and Arvind Goud.
The sources further said that the TDP has decided to nominate CM Ramesh and T Devender Goud as its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections to be held on March 30.
