Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today lashed out at the Opposition leaders for their rhetoric against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and IT Minister K T Rama Rao. He faulted the Opposition for belittling KCR and KTR and demanding that KTR resign owing responsibility to the multi-storied building collapse at Nanakramguda.
Addressing the media at Secretariat on Saturday, Srinivas Yadav fumed at the Opposition leaders saying that the people would cut their tongues if they failed to mend their ways and stop mudslinging against KCR and KTR. He threw a challenge to the leaders of the Opposition parties to get ready for a debate in the Winter session of Assembly. “We are ready to discuss about 40 years ruling by the previous governments and will explain what the TRS has done so far during its two-and-a-half year stint.
The minister also accused the Opposition of making derogatory remarks in a mindless manner. The State government was aware of note ban woes in the State and brought the situation to the notice of the Centre, he remarked. KCR has taken up the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the TRS Government was supporting the Centre with regard to any issue for maintaining cordial relations with it. He said the KCR government spent Rs 1900 crore for providing drinking waters to LB Nagar, Malkajgiri, Kutbullapur and Serilingampally municipalities and agreed to Opposition leader K Jana Reddy’s appeal for release of 100 per cent of funds for Assembly Constituency Development. The TRS Government gave Rs 3,600 crore arrears of fees reimbursement left unpaid by the previous Kiran Kumar Reddy government and waived off the crop loans.
Talasani claimed that the State government was committed for the welfare of the people, farmers and old aged. Srinivas Yadav also cited that the Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha, pension scheme, fine rice to hostels, Kalyana Lakhsmi, Shadi Mubarak and others. “We are giving top priority for filling posts through TSPSC in other departments and completing irrigation projects and spending huge funds. The Opposition was resorting to baseless allegations for propaganda sake, he alleged. New camp office was of the State government and not personal of KCR, who was only discharging his duties for the development of the State, he said and denied allegations that Rs 100 crore corruption had taken place in the GHMC.
