Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today lashed out at the Opposition parties for taking on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao over new districts.
Addressing the media at the Secretariat here on Monday, Srinivas Yadav said the previous governments had deprived artisans and handicrafts of everything, but the TRS Government was reviving them to ensure better future to them. He alleged that the Congress and Telugu Desam leaders were indulging in cheap politics and were trying to target the government. “Some useless leaders in the Congress were making derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister mischievously”, he fumed. The Congress and the TDP parties lack an understanding on the new districts and are resorting to make comments, he fumed.
Seeking to know as to why the Congress did not ask for scientific process during an all-party meeting on the new districts, the minister said the new districts are meant for smooth governance. He said the leaders of other parties are making a hue and cry. But the government would not hesitate to initiate stern action if the Opposition leaders failed to mend their ways, he warned.
Talasani also said reorganization of the districts will prove handy through speedy and transparent delivery of the schemes. The government plans to press in mobile services to provide complete healthcare to cattle in villages through 109 vehicles on the lines of 108, he said. He also said the government has allotted Rs 101 crore to Fisheries department, including Rs 45 crore for the welfare of the fishermen’s community. He also claimed that the newly introduced scheme of Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phule will provide monetary assistance to 300 BCs for foreign studies this year. The Government will extend all help to the farmers, who suffered crop loss in the heavy rains. He also declared that stringent measures would be initiated against those companies which supplied fake seed, he added. KCR was implementing various schemes to fulfill the aspirations of the people through waters, resources and jobs, Srinivas Yadav added. (NSS)
