Talasani seeks people’s participation in Swachh Hyderabad campaign

Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has requested all the sections of the society to participate in the Swachh Hyderabad campaign being launched from 16th May.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Talasani said that the campaign was aimed at making Hyderabad free from garbage. Disclosing the details, he said that the entire city has been divided into 400 areas for the effective and focused implementation of the campaign and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has promised to spend Rs 50 lakh each for the development of these areas. He said that the State Government has released Rs 20 crore for the five-day campaign which would be launched by Governor ESL Narasimhan.

Talasani said a toll-free number 040-21111111 too has been started for the campaign. He urged all political parties to extend cooperation for the successful conduct of the Swachh Hyderabad campaign. (INN)
