Talasani questions TDP’s silence on Jagan’s probe

Giving a clear indication that he might quit the Telugu Desam Party, former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday openly criticised its leaders for maintaining questionable silence on the CBI investigation into the disproportionate assets case of Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Talking to media persons at Assembly premises, Srinivas Yadav asked the Central Bureau of Investigation to explain as to why it has failed to mention VANPIC in the third charge sheet filed in Jagan’s assets case. He alleged that thousands of crores of rupees have changed hands in the acquisition of lands for the construction of Vadarevu and Nizampatnam Ports Industrial Corridor. He said that he was consulting legal experts to file a petition in this connection in the court.

He criticised the TDP for not raising this issue. He alleged that TDP’s silence on this issue proves that some its leaders too were involved in the scam.
