Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Sunday launched 20th centre which provides subsidised meal for Rs 5/- at Puranapul in the Old City.
Talasani and Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin appreciated Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s Special Officer Somesh Kumar for expanding this innovative scheme which resulted in poor people getting meals at Rs 5/- Following a request by the local MLA, the GHMC chief has agreed to open some more centres in the Old City.
Additional Commissioner N Ravi Kiran, Deputy Commissioner K Satyanarayana and other senior officials were also present. (INN)
