Minister T Srinivas Yadav today distributed house sites for 90 poor families at Kasturbhai Nagar in Sanathanagar here.
Speaking on the occasion the minister stated that the government will provide permanent shelter for the poorest of the poor in all slums. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao vowed to provide pucca house to the poor and steps were initiated he maintained. Every family living in the slums will get permanent housing facility and steps will be taken to address the issues of the people Srinivas Yadav said. The chief minister is coming up with many welfare schemes for the benefit of the poor and deprived class, he said. Eligible people are getting their pensions now he stated. Recently the government increased the number of beneficiaries of the pensions. (NSS)
