Minister for Animal Husbandry and Cinematography T Srinivas Yadav today said that the TRS Government is working towards eradicating poverty in the state. The minister distributed Cheques of Rs 51000 each to 13 beneficiaries under Kalyan Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak at his residence.
Speaking on the occasion Srinivas Yadav said that Chief Minister K Chandraasekhar Rao is giving top priority for welfare and extending financial assistance to the poor families towards marriage. He also said that the TRS Government is for the cause of the poor and deprived classes. The government will allot more funds in the budget for fishermen, Sheep, Goats growers he said. Giving priority to Animal Husbandry and Fisheries departments KCR constituted a committee to study the social and economic situation of these sections. He also claimed that the TRS Government doubled pensions and giving Rs 1000 to old aged, widows and Rs 1500 to physically challenged persons. Srinivas Yadav also said that the government is committed to implement various welfare schemes and development programs for the poor. (NSS)
