Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has directed the officials to start arrangements for the coming Ramzan holidays immediately at his constituency Sanath Nagar.
The minister held a meeting with the officials of various departments and Masjid Committees at Secretariat on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said he found about 35 Masjids in his constituency. He directed the GHMC and Water Works officials to repair the roads and provide drinking water respectively. He also advised the officials to see that the Muslims, who attend prayers for five times a day not face any inconvenience during the prayers. He asked the GHMC officials to install halogen lights at Masjids.
The Imams and presidents of the mosques brought the problems to the notice of the Minister on the occasion. Local corporators Shesha Kumari, Laxmi Bal Reddy.
