Washington D.C. [USA]: U.S. President Donald Trump, in his opening speech at a joint session of Congress, said the country is taking strong measure to protect the nation from radical Islamic terrorism and added that ISIS is killing people from all faiths.
“We are also taking strong measures to protect our nation from radical Islamic terrorism. ISIS kills Muslims,Christians, people from all faiths,” Trump said.
Trump also said that he has directed the Department of Defense to develop a plan to demolish and destroy ISIS.
“We vow to destroy it with help of our allies including in Muslim world. We cannot allow our nation to become a sanctuary for extremists,” he added.
This comes a day after National security adviser of U.S. President Donald Trump, H.R. McMaster had said that using the phrase ” radical Islamic terrorism” is not helpful for America, as terrorist organizations like ISIS represent a perversion of Islam.(ANI)
