(Siasat News) Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha, former CPI M.P. of Rajya Sabha applauded the efforts of Delhi Waqf Board for talking control of 123 Waqf properties for which many voluntary organizations had organized strong movement. The persons who played a key role in this movement are Mr. Mahmood Ali Qutbi, former Secretary of Central Waqf Council, Mr. Manzoor Ahmed, IPS, Mr. Shahabuddin, M.P. and Mr. Yaqoob Qureshi, IAS. In this connection the efforts made by Institute of Waqf Studies and Research, New Delhi did a commendable job. Mr. Aziz Pasha further told that former Governor of Haryana Mr. Syed Muzzaffar Husain Barni also played an important role in the restoration of Waqf properties.
