Bengaluru: A noted Kendriya Vidyalaya of Sadashiv Nagar in Bengaluru was in headlines of the newspapers for the sexual harassments of girl students by its Principal. On receiving complaints, police arrested Kumar Thakur, Principal of the school but he immediately got bail from the court.
It is reported that the principal was continuously harassing the girls. The teachers of the school made a complaint to the police on 14th January. It was stated that Kumar Thakur was targeting orphan girls of the schools. Showing their helplessness, the teachers of the school requested the police to take action against the principal. Police took the matter very seriously and started investigation. The statements of the girls were also recorded. A criminal case was registered against Thakur on 25th January. Police arrested him 5 days after the case was booked. He was released on bail on 2nd February.
